Love those mystical hoops they remind me of a brave warrior way back in ancient times…
These handcrafted ethnic organic looking hoops are made of copper with a very dark patina. They have round Charoite cabochon stones set in the center which show on the back side as well. The metal around the Charoite is textured giving it the look of sunrays bursting out of the stone. The seven holes surrounding the Charoite stand for the seven energy zones (chakras) in your body. Sterling silver is used for the ear wire. The earrings may look heavy but are actually pretty light weight.

What a fun Ethnic necklace made form Splash Copper and African sand casted trade beads. I have been told they are between 50 -100 years old.
Splash Copper Sculptures are made by pouring molten copper at 2200 degrees F onto a flat surface. When the shapes are cooled, a green or turquoise-colored chemical patina is applied, then highlights are buff polished to expose the glowing solid copper underneath. The sculptures are sprayed to preserve the finish and to prevent the copper from tarnishing.

Pachamama is a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes. Pachamama is usually translated as Mother Earth, in a modern meaning seen as the cosmos or the universe. The symbol for Pacha Mama is the spiral. The Incas believe that, if lifted from the center, the spiral is the pathway to heaven.
I created this Pachamama necklace with Blue Kyanite, Angel Hair Quartz, and Hematized Ammonite, beautiful healing stones of Mother Earth. They are wire wrapped in a natural flowing way and decorated with many copper spirals. Please read about their healing energies below. SILVIA’S PERSONAL NAME TAG NECKLACE
I needed a name tag for my art group meeting. The group got so big that we have a hard time remembering each other’s names. So there we go, that inspired me to create this necklace. I got already so many compliments on it that I decided to do custom orders. The stones and beads as well as the chain may vary since I am not mass producing jewelry and always hand pick individual stones for its beauty. The cost will be about $189.
The material I used on this necklace consists of a 16 gauge copper sheet for the name tag on which I sawed out Silvia then hammered to give it some structure. A diamond shaped copper chain, 12 gauge copper wire for the circle which I hammered to flatten and give structure. 20 gauge copper wire for the wire wrapped Labradorite crystal and 24 gauge wire pins to attach the Labradorite beads. For the jump rings I used 16 gauge copper wire.

This cuff is a one of a kind lost wax cast made with Shibuichi alloy. Shibuichi name means “one-fourth” in Japanese and indicates the standard formulation of one part silver to three parts copper which produce stunning arrays of color and form. Through heat the silver rises to the surface and leave a soft silver rosy hue. I gently formed this cuff to give it a used worn look found in a treasure chest from a long forgotten time. The symbolic meaning of the serpents adds to the mystical magician look of this creation.

For this unusual and exciting bangle I used many layers of fused fine silver with a hint for gold. The whole piece is than formed in to it’s oval shape, oxidized and hand polished to bring out the richness of the design and metals.
Fusing is a process of joining pure metals by applying heat, without the need for solder. The trick is to remove the heat just before the whole piece melts into a blog.
This bangle has a circumference of 8 1/4” and a width of 3/4 is oval shaped and not flexible.
To find out if this size fits you put your hand in the same position as when you slip the bangle on, then measure the widest part around your hand. (Circumference)

This creation is not sublet it makes a statement with its big blue apatite crystal crowning the top. The ring is a size 6 and a unique one of a kind sterling silver cast.
Apatite is said to mobilize energy reserves for the healthy formation of bones, cells, and teeth. The Magical properties of Apatite encourage intuition during meditation and can stimulate “memories of past lives.” When placed on the throat chakra, apatite produces a feeling of warmth and harmony and helps in overcoming problems.

This organic looking statement ring is hand fabricated by me in the ancient method of lost wax cast using A slice of a Lotus Root … indigenous to Asia and found underwater, the root of the lotus flower. The cast is in Ancient Bronze, the ring band, to go along with the lotus root has images of lotus flowers. A Fire Opal is adorning the Lotus Root you can see the rainbow-fire sparkling in the sun.

There are many legends surrounding the Sand Dollar, but my favorite has to be that they are the coins of mermaids, who accidentally drop them, and which are then washed ashore on stormy nights. It is also said that Christ left the sand dollar as a symbol to help the evangelists teach the faith. The five holes commemorate the five wounds of Christ, while at the center on one side blooms the Easter Lily, and at the lily’s heart is the Star of Bethlehem. The Christmas poinsettia is etched on the other side, a reminder of Christ’s birth. According to this legend, if you break the center, five white doves will be released to spread goodwill and peace.

This Angel Wing Amulet is made out of Brass and Copper. After sawing out the angel wings I applied heat and patina to the metal to achieve an antique finish. Using a ball pen hammer gave it structure and strength. The center stone is a rare Stalactite Amethyst the bottom stone is iridescent Labradorite they both harmonize wonderfully with each other. The links, spiral clasp, and chain are made from brass the jump rings and wire wraps are made of copper.

This cuffs reminds me of a hidden treasure from a long forgotten time when every piece of jewelry was hand forged by one artist to perfection and believe me this is what I did. I think my bicep grew a couple of inches.
The technique I used to get the metal into this soft outward wave is called anticlastic shell forming. The metal is NuGold which after some time turns into this rich orange golden hue. Of course I had to play around a little bit with the antiquing too ;D
They are very smooth and comfortable cuffs for a wrist size of 6 ½” give or take since it is adjustable.

Beautiful seashells collected on a volcanic island in Baja California are the souls of this cuff. I used pottery clay to create the shell mold than poured liquid wax over it to create the wax model which than was cast in ancient bronze. The cuff has a sealed green patina. A labor of love it took me at least a good week of trial and error to figure this one out… well worth it so ;D

Lost wax casting is the process I used to create this gorges goddess of love and compassion. Starting with a compact block of hard wax I carved out my beloved model for perfection to create a mold so I can pour her into any metal of desire. This one is yellow brass which I antiqued to give it a beautiful mystic look. Adding an Abalone as her flowering womb the black oval in the center of the stone symbolizes the fetus of love. The bezel is made out of copper and shaped as a flower. The goddess is adorned by a handmade golden brass and copper link chain finished off with a spiral clasp.

The abalone shell has been a source of magic for thousands of years. Its connection to the sea links with the tides and every changing quality of the ocean a source of mystery – rocky and plain on the outside, shining and beautiful on the inside. Abalone is purported to be especially useful for handling and calming emotional situations so very soothing to the emotions. Having abalone nearby when working through an emotional situation with someone is said to be beneficial, and to promote cooperation. Abalone is reported by intuitive sources to stimulate psychic development and intuition, and promotes imagination in a healthy way. It is associated with the first three chakras. The Celtic cross is hand sawn out of NuGold metal, filed, sanded, than finely textured. The adorable dried mini rose is preserved in a copper bezel filed with resin. The bezel is half way set back and connected to the cross by some creative riveting. A fine triple layer antiqued brass chain adorns this pendant which is broke up by little copper disk for some extra movement and sparkle. I like to create unique pieces of jewelry that have a handcrafted look with a mystical, other-worldly feel I am very happy with the end result of this piece.

An amulet/talisman is an object, often a crystal or gemstone that has the

The technique I used to get the metal into this soft outward wave is called anticlastic shell forming. The metal is NuGold which after some experimenting turned into these two different shades of golden hue.
It is a very smooth and comfortable cuff for a wrist size of 6 ½” give or take.
Soon I will be able to make them bigger for you if needed.
To get the cuff on your wrist just snap the darker piece over the lighter one evenly and it will stay put.

To create this Star Amulet I used the method of etching on NuGold. After sawing out the etched design the Clear Topaz, Citrine, Amethyst, Garnet, and Peridot were set. There is an opening for each stone in the metal to allow it to touch your skin which allows the healing energies of the stones to connect with your body. The chain is fabricated with Garnet beads, copper and brass links.

Something new… I fashioned a simple pendant out of 22 gauge copper, and then applied liquid enamels and sifted transparent colors to make it a work of art. Attached is a Green Tourmaline with little pieces of Lepidolite to add more interest and balance.The copper chain is 25″ long with Black Tourmaline beads in between. CHAKRA is a Sanskrit word that denotes circular movements such as a spinning wheel or vortex. This word is used to describe the dynamic energy centers that connect with Universal spiritual energy, or prana, and transform it into physical life force. These energy centers balance, store, and distribute the energies of life and consciousness throughout the body. Each chakra oversees different aspects of life, thoughts, and energies. Chakra energy is invisible in the physical realm; it can be monitored, but has no mass or substance of its own. Each individual chakra does, however, have a general location. When the charkas are in alignment and the consciousness is flowing, there is complete harmony of mind, body, and soul, when the energy field is in this beautiful state and the energy is being received and sent accurately, these centers will spin in a clockwise motion. If one or more of the centers is spinning in a counterclockwise direction, then there is disharmony, which throws off the balance of the other centers and diminishes the power and accuracy of the energy being received and transmitted.

The person centered in this chakra will be resolving aspects of communication within themselves and towards others. They need to, and are able to, express themselves.
Third Eye Chakra: Color Indigo We see what we expect to see; let there be light and let us see through darkness. Let us perceive the realms beyond as we transcend time and look beyond duality. The person centered in this chakra will see things differently. They have inner sight and will find clarity wherever they focus.
Crown Chakra: Color Lavender In the seventh chakra we are all one. Every element of every chakra we have explored already is here. This is the chakra of knowing, and thought is the densest level of consciousness present. The person centered in this chakra will know the unknown and be conscious of the infinite. They will have experienced a reality beyond the realm of the physical senses.

Every component of this pendant is handmade by me. The Om Symbol is a mixed metal inlay. I hand saw the Om out of brass metal sheet then saw out a negative Om from copper which is blacken by patina. The brass Om is inserted to the negative copper Om than planished to perfection for a tight fit before solder merges it together forever. After that I domed the design to give it dimension. The four petal lotus is sawn out with a hand saw one for the front, the middle one with the Om Symbol, and one for the back. All root chakra symbols are sawn out by hand as well. Finally all three lotus designs are riveted together to create this powerful pendant, let’s not forget about the finishing filing, sanding, and polishing. One fine stone to match the Root Chakra is Red Garnet which ends with a golden spiral clasp and extension chain.
Wearing this necklace brings happiness and energy down to the core.

In the Kundalini yoga system of Shaktism, the Muladhara center is described as having four lotus petals, each corresponding to the psychological states of greatest joy, natural pleasure, delight in controlling passions, and blissfulness in concentration, leading to meditation. The first and second chakras act as the energetic recycling bin of the auric field. They change negative emotional energies into power and light, and return to Earth any “toxic waste” that the other chakras cannot deal with, thus keeping the rainbow purity of the aura.
OM is the symbol of the Absolute- it is the essence of Hinduism. It means oneness and a merging of our physical body with our spiritual being. It is regarded as the most sacred syllable, the first sound from which emerges each and every other sound, whether of music or of language. It is a mystic sound that is the basis for mantras (chants); it is the sound of origination and dissolution containing past, present and future.

The Sacral Chakra, or Svadisthana, is also known as the spleen and navel center. Svadisthana can be translated as “one’s sweetest abode” or “one’s own place”. In the kundalini yoga system of Shaktism, Svadisthana is describe as having six lotus petals, shown variously as white, saffron or orange on color, that symbolize its secret connection with the high Sixth State of Consciousness into which we are evolving. The Solar Plexus Chakra, or Manipura – “place of gems” or “shining like a pearl” is traditionally located at the navel representing the element of Fire at the center. The Throat or Vishuddha Chakra really is a bridge, because it takes us from one side of the river of life – our body – to the other side, into spiritual realms. It is the place from where we can speak or sing our love: for our partner, our world, our god’s and our goddesses. Conversely we can use our voice to hurt or slander, speaking bitter words that destroy and turn the energies of this chakra inward. Vishuddha will not continue to receive sustenance from the sacred ether unless we can speak and sing good words. When the Throat Chakra is active and we express ourselves through it in prayer, word or song, we are naturally in praise of all the forces of creation Energy imbalances in Vishuddha manifest as ear, nose, throat and respiratory problems in the physical body. So if there is discomfort or disease in these areas, the Throat Chakra will be the first one to give healing to. As it comes into balance, we learn to feel truly that we are ”in our body” and can express the creative and life-affirming aspects of ourselves.

The Crown Chakra or Sahasrara is also known as the Thousand-Petal Lotus which is the place of pure consciousness. From subtle anatomy we know that it is the end of the main sushumna nadi, where it combines with the energies of the pingala nadi ( solar and masculine energy) and the ida nadi (lunar and feminine energy) that have conjoined at Ajna During the rising of Kundalini (expressed in the Yin and Yang symbol of the pendant). The Crown Chakra symbolizes the balance of duality within us and our ability to experience super-consciousness, and then the bliss of transcendental consciousness. Because this state is impossible to describe, it is sometimes called ‘the Void”. Chakra energy is invisible in the physical realm; it can be monitored, but has no mass or substance of its own. Each individual chakra does, however, have a general location. When the charkas are in alignment and the consciousness is flowing, there is complete harmony of mind, body, and soul, when the energy field is in this beautiful state and the energy is being received and sent accurately, these centers will spin in a clockwise motion. If one or more of the centers is spinning in a counterclockwise direction, then there is disharmony, which throws off the balance of the other centers and diminishes the power and accuracy of the energy being received and transmitted.
Root / Base Chakra:
Emerald (stone) when used on the Base Chakra will calm it by bringing you into a deeper resonance with Mother Earth. Emeralds help to ground us, so that we feel much more at peace with our lives on Earth. It is vital that we are grounded through our Base Chakra, since unless we are, the other chakras will not be fully in alignment with our soul purpose. Emerald also opens the heart chakra and has a calming effect on the emotions. Red Garnet (bead) is one of the main stones for the Root Chakra it balances and stimulates the development and movement of the Kundalini.
Sacral Chakra:
Moonstone (stone) is used on all parts of the body that “breathes” in a cycle ideal for using at the Sacral Chakra also because of its association with the element of Water. It works particularly with the feminine energy impulse. Moonstone cleanses negativity from the chakras, enhancing the feminine aspects of one’s nature while providing for spiritual nourishment and sustenance, and a loving compassion to further assist one through all changes. Carnelian (bead) is full of the life force and vitality and has a strong influence on the Sacral Chakra.
Solar Plexus Chakra:
Citrine has a sympathetic resonance with panic energy coming from our Sun. It acts powerfully to cleanse warm and energize. Citrine raises self-esteem and self-confidence, and removes destructive tendencies. In addition it activates the crown chakra and opens the intuition. Citrine cleanses and balances the subtle bodies, aligning them with the physical.
Heart Chakra:
Rose Quartz (stone) is the stone of unconditional love and infinite peace. It is the most important crystal for the heat and the Heart Chakra teaching the true essence of love. It purifies and opens the heart at all levels, and bring deep inner healing and self-love. In meditation it will take you through opening the different levels of the Heart Chakra and find ways to connect you with your inner cosmic child. Peridot (bead) is used to activate the Heart Chakra and can be seen as “the stone of relationships” – easing away negative emotions that hold us back from truly loving, and replacing them with compassion, love and calmness.

Tibetan Quartz (stone) contains a very powerful “OM” vibration, promoting the inventive powers. The body can attune to this resonance and can radiate the energy and verity of the higher-self. In addition to the qualities of the composition, the Tibetan Quartz Crystals have been used to promote contact with the ancient cultures of the East, bringing knowledge and information concerning healing and spirituality to the user. This is the manna – the breath – the prana, the chi of life. The chakras interact with this universal life force and animate the various aspects of your life, form the universal – through the individual and into earth – and then back again.

Chakra Balancing Sessions March 14, 2012
Have you ever had a Chakra Reading or a Chakra Clearing treatment?
If you don’t know much about your chakras (the energy centers in your body that are a reflection of your state of being) you will get to learn about the chakras and their meaning.

Silvia will explain each chakra, and measure the movement of each of your chakras. Together, you and Silvia will do a chakra treatment on your hand reflexology points with chakra oils, and she will guide you through a chakra clearing meditation.
Healing our chakras allows us to return to harmony and balance, feeling reconnected with Spirit and more alive as we release stored or stagnant energy that results in blocks and imbalances in our being.

This sessions are free and held every first and third Tuesday from 6 – 9pm
Due to the number of people who want to participate, Silvia is unable to do the readings and cleaning for everyone who wants one. In the past some people have come hours before to sign up, making it unfair for those who cannot come until 6 pm or after,
so the interest of fairness, the selection will be by lottery:
Readings will be every 1/2 hour starting 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
At 5:55 pm and approximately 7:25 pm, all those wanting a reading will draw a number from a bag
Silvia will also draw numbers from a bag at 5:55 pm and 7:25 pm and those having numbers matching those drawn by Silvia will win the lottery and get the Chakra Reading and clearing.
Those not winning the lottery at 5:55 pm, can participate in the second lottery at 7:25 pm
Each session will take up to 3 people
About Silvia’s Jewelry and Studio August 16, 2011
As a teenager, I pined for unique pieces of jewelry with a mystical, other-worldly feel. Years later, a part-time stint in a metaphysical store introduced me to the power and energy of crystals. I developed an intimate attraction to these stones, finding them much too beautiful to carry around in my pockets! The stones became a part of my artwork, punctuating my painted canvases (see www.silviapeluso.wordpress.com). I soon became a self-taught master of wire wrapping. Discovering a talent for creating the one-of-a-kind jewelry I had once imagined my line, Healing Stone Creations, was born!
Each original piece is imbued with the loving energy of my Reiki-attuned hands. It is my hope that each piece will positively enhance the lives of their recipients. The energies of the gemstones help you shift your consciousness, so they help you focus on what you want to create. They are a tool you can use to shift your focus, your thoughts, your way of handling challenges, and ultimately your behavior and actions, which shapes your destiny.
Life is a balance between seeking the infinite intelligence, possibilities and resources of the universe, while at the same time surrendering the ego-driven attachments. In my opinion, the energies of gemstones help you be more grounded, more aware, more joyous, resulting in this balance.
Each stone has specific attributes which call out to their admirers at different times in their lives. I encourage you to research the properties of the stones that attract you as a way of becoming more self-aware in your daily lives.
If you are uninspired by mass-produced baubles that act as mere status symbols, adorn yourself and illuminate your life with original art work you can wear!
