 Pendulums have been used for centuries to find things – water, gold, oil – treasures of all kinds including answers! Through the ages, people have used the pendulum to guide them toward correct answers to their important questions. It is one of the oldest, and one of the simplest methods of obtaining information intuitively.

Just as radios pick up informaiton form unseen radio waves, the pendulum is a powerful antenna that sends and receives vibrational information from energy waves emitted by people, places, thoughts and things.

Some believe that the pendulum find the connection to the intuitive parts of the mind. “Divining” with a pendulum is  a method of connecting with a higher power in order to obtain information  from a divine source. Scientific research indicates that the pendulum responds to electromagnetic energy that radiates from everything on Earth.

Pendulum Instructions

Settle comfortably with your pendulum. Hold the top of the string in your dominant hand and suspend the pendulum in front of you. Allow your inner self to be still, and allow the pendulum to be still. Feel yourself as one with the pendulum, and feel the stillness connecting you and the pendulum. Always start by asking and thanking the pendulum for its help. You can do that either at the start of your session, or before and after each question. Surround your self with white light and protective energy. Ask the pendulum to show you “yes.” Sit quietly and the pendulum will start to move in a certain direction. When you are sure of the movement, tell it thank you. It will then stop moving. Repeat the previous step for “no”. It should show you a definite different direction. Thank it after each step, and it should stop its motion. Begin your questions, and keep track of what the pendulum is telling you. Keep your questions to yes and no, and be as brief and uncomplicated as you can. Remember that a pendulum is a tool, whether plain or fancy. It is there to assist you in getting in touch with your own higher self and your guiding spirits. Give it the respect that you would give any good tool, but remember that the power is coming from outside. Keep your questions and lists of questions brief. Don’t overuse your pendulum. If you don’t like the answers you get, don’t keep asking and hoping they will change! Instead, ask yourself why you need the answer to be different and look at your own attitudes. Silvia began painting as a child in Southern Germany near the Black Forest. Her parents’ family friends became her first enthusiastic patrons. Thirteen years ago, Silvia came to the United States. In 2001, a career change allowed time to pursue more creative endeavors, and she re-discovered her passion for painting.
 
Silvia finds the process of painting to be a meditative and therapeutic form of self-expression and discovery. Inspired by the spiritual experiences that illuminate /elucidate the marrow of existence, her intimate journey is offered to an audience, which often finds more than aesthetic delight in her work. Each painting is a unique and vivid exploration of our hidden realms which invites their admirers to engage in their own voyage of meditative self-discovery.

Silvia Peluso’s creative vision reminds us that beautiful treasured art has no boundaries. Whether meant to be worn or to adorn the walls of your own sacred space, Silvia’s jewelry and artwork open a door from the mundane world into the magical.
 
Born in Germany, Silvia now lives with her husband and two children in California.

She has been a member of The Redondo Beach Art Group since 2006 and has become their Vice President in January 2009.

Besides being active in the local art community, Silvia invites those who admire her craftsmanship to try their own hand at jewelry design under her guidance.  

 

 

 

 

She teaches wire-wrapping classes at the Topaz Visions Reiki Healing Center, where she also teaches the art of aromatherapy. 

For the past four years she has offered aromatherapy courses at the South Bay Massage College.

 

 

 

Recently, Silvia has started holding classes in the meditation studio on the roof-deck of her own home as well.

About Silvia’s Jewelry December 27, 2008

As a teenager, Silvia pined for unique pieces of jewelry with a mystical, other-worldly feel. Years later, a part-time stint in a metaphysical store introduced her to the power and energy of crystals. She developed an intimate attraction to these stones, finding them much too beautiful to carry around in her pockets! The stones became a part of Silvia’s artwork, punctuating her brilliantly painted canvases. She soon became a self-taught master of wire wrapping. Discovering a talent for creating the one-of-a-kind jewelry she had once imagined, her line, Healing Stone Creations, was born!
 
Each original piece is imbued with the loving energy of Silvia’s own Reiki-attuned hands. It is her hope that each piece will positively enhance the lives of their recipients. Each stone has specific attributes which call out to their admirers at different times in their lives. Silvia encourages people to research the properties of the stones that attract them as a way of becoming more self-aware in their daily lives.
