These magical hoops are made from copper with a very dark patina they have an oval turquoise set in its center which shows on the back side as well. The turquoise is been in my husband’s possession for over 35 years it’s the real stuff and not dyed! The bezel and ear wire are sterling silver. These pair is completeley handmade and has a very organic ethnic look. This pair is for you goddesses that can wear a little bit heavier earrings but not too heavy.

SILVIA’S PERSONAL NAME TAG NECKLACE

I needed a name tag for my art group meeting. The group got so big that we have a hard time remembering each other’s names. So there we go, that inspired me to create this necklace. I got already so many compliments on it that I decided to do custom orders. The stones and beads as well as the chain may vary since I am not mass producing jewelry and always hand pick individual stones for its beauty. The cost will be about $189.

The material I used on this necklace consists of a 16 gauge copper sheet for the name tag on which I sawed out Silvia then hammered to give it some structure. A diamond shaped copper chain, 12 gauge copper wire for the circle which I hammered to flatten and give structure. 20 gauge copper wire for the wire wrapped Labradorite crystal and 24 gauge wire pins to attach the Labradorite beads. For the jump rings I used 16 gauge copper wire.

For this unusual and exciting bangle I used many layers of fused fine silver with a hint for gold. The whole piece is than formed in to it’s oval shape, oxidized and hand polished to bring out the richness of the design and metals.
Fusing is a process of joining pure metals by applying heat, without the need for solder. The trick is to remove the heat just before the whole piece melts into a blog.

This bangle has a circumference of 8 1/4” and a width of 3/4 is oval shaped and not flexible.

To find out if this size fits you put your hand in the same position as when you slip the bangle on, then measure the widest part around your hand. (Circumference)

Cloisonné enamel objects are worked on with enamel powder made into a paste, which then needs to be fired in a kiln.

This creation is not sublet it makes a statement with its big blue apatite crystal crowning the top. The ring is a size 6 and a unique one of a kind sterling silver cast.

Apatite is said to mobilize energy reserves for the healthy formation of bones, cells, and teeth. The Magical properties of Apatite encourage intuition during meditation and can stimulate “memories of past lives.” When placed on the throat chakra, apatite produces a feeling of warmth and harmony and helps in overcoming problems.

I etched the Angel Wing on NuGold than domed it for some dimension. The wing is riveted to copper which holds the word “Love” and the setting of the Epidot in Quartz and Ametrine Crystal. The bezel for the stones are fine silver. The chain is antique brass adorned with small Amethyst beads and finished with a spiral clasp. The jump rings in between give you the possibility to wear the necklace any length you desire it is long enough to rap it loosely twice around your neck.

The Celtic Cross is hand fabricated using NuGold finely textured. The adorable dried mini rose is preserved in a copper bezel filed with resin. The bezel is half way set back and connected to the cross by some creative riveting.  A fine triple layer antiqued brass chain adorns this pendant which I broke up with little copper disk for some extra movement and sparkle.
I like to create unique pieces of jewelry that have a handcrafted look with a mystical, other-worldly feel and I am very happy with the end result of this piece.

The symbolism of the Celtic cross is indicative of the human desire to know and experience the unfolding mystery of life. The metals I used for this cuff are NuGold, Copper, and Silver. Different techniques and play time created the unusual shades on this cuff. The set stone is Opal shimmering in red, green and gold depending on where the light hits.

The cuff 6” long and 1” wide is slightly adjustable fitting a small to medium size wrist.

Opal which exhibits a spectral of color (commonly called “fire”) contains tiny spheres of silica; it can be used to encourage flashes of intuition and insight. The ancients believed that the storm god, jealous of the beauty of the rainbow god, broke the rainbow – pieces of the rainbow falling to the Earth to become a part of the opal which exhibits the appearance of the ‘”rainbow-fire”. The “fire” represents a glowing inner flame, producing a gentle vitality to stimulate ones pursuits in the spiritual realm, and assisting in the alignment between the spiritual self and the psychic and astral planes.

The technique I used to get the metal into this soft outward wave is called anticlastic shell forming. The metal is NuGold which after some experimenting turned into these two different shades of golden hue.

It is a very smooth and comfortable cuff for a wrist size of 6 ½” give or take.

Soon I will be able to make them bigger for you if needed.

To get the cuff on your wrist just snap the darker piece over the lighter one evenly and it will stay put.

To create this Star Amulet I used the method of etching on NuGold. After sawing out the etched design the Clear Topaz, Citrine, Amethyst, Garnet, and Peridot were set. There is an opening for each stone in the metal to allow it to touch your skin which allows the healing energies of the stones to connect with your body. The chain is fabricated with Garnet beads, copper and brass links.

Something new… I fashioned a simple pendant out of 22 gauge copper, and then applied liquid enamels and sifted transparent colors to make it a work of art. Attached is a Green Tourmaline with little pieces of Lepidolite to add more interest and balance.The copper chain is 25″ long with Black Tourmaline beads in between. The pendant including the wire wrapped stone has an extra  4 1/2″.

ROOT CHAKRA PENDANT WITH RED GARNET BEADS $220

Every component of this pendant is handmade by me. The Om Symbol is a mixed metal inlay. I hand saw the Om out of brass metal sheet then saw out a negative Om from copper which is blacken by patina. The brass Om is inserted to the negative copper Om than planished to perfection for a tight fit before solder merges it together forever. After that I domed the design to give it dimension. The four petal lotus is sawn out with a hand saw one for the front, the middle one with the Om Symbol, and one for the back. All root chakra symbols are sawn out by hand as well. Finally all three lotus designs are riveted together to create this powerful pendant, let’s not forget about the finishing filing, sanding, and polishing. One fine stone to match the Root Chakra is Red Garnet which ends with a golden spiral clasp and extension chain.

 Wearing this necklace brings happiness and energy down to the core.

The Root Chakra (aka Muladhara or First Chakra) is the first of the seven major chakras and associated with the element of Earth, symbolizing the densest grade of manifestation and the basis of life. In the Kundalini yoga system of Shaktism, the Muladhara center is described as having four lotus petals, each corresponding to the psychological states of greatest joy, natural pleasure, delight in controlling passions, and blissfulness in concentration, leading to meditation.  The BUTTERFLY is a symbol of change, resurrection, transformation, celebration, young love and the soul. She asks us to accept the changes in our lives as casually as she does. The butterfly unquestioningly embraces the chances of her environment and her body. This unwavering acceptance of her metamorphosis is also symbolic of faith. Here the butterfly beckons us to keep our faith as we undergo transitions in our lives. She understands that our toiling, fretting and anger are useless against the turning tides of nature – she asks us to recognize the same. CHAKRA is a Sanskrit word that denotes circular movements such as a spinning wheel or vortex. This word is used to describe the dynamic energy centers that connect with Universal spiritual energy, or prana, and transform it into physical life force. These energy centers balance, store, and distribute the energies of life and consciousness throughout the body. Each chakra oversees different aspects of life, thoughts, and energies. Chakra energy is invisible in the physical realm; it can be monitored, but has no mass or substance of its own. Each individual chakra does, however, have a general location. When the charkas are in alignment and the consciousness is flowing, there is complete harmony of mind, body, and soul, when the energy field is in this beautiful state and the energy is being received and sent accurately, these centers will spin in a clockwise motion. If one or more of the centers is spinning in a counterclockwise direction, then there is disharmony, which throws off the balance of the other centers and diminishes the power and accuracy of the energy being received and transmitted.

Root / Base Chakra:

Emerald (stone) when used on the Base Chakra will calm it by bringing you into a deeper resonance with Mother Earth. Emeralds help to ground us, so that we feel much more at peace with our lives on Earth. It is vital that we are grounded through our Base Chakra, since unless we are, the other chakras will not be fully in alignment with our soul purpose. Citrine raises self-esteem and self-confidence, and removes destructive tendencies. In addition it activates the crown chakra and opens the intuition. Citrine cleanses and balances the subtle bodies, aligning them with the physical. Heart Chakra: Rose Quartz (stone) is the stone of unconditional love and infinite peace. It is the most important crystal for the heat and the Heart Chakra teaching the true essence of love. It purifies and opens the heart at all levels, and bring deep inner healing and self-love. In meditation it will take you through opening the different levels of the Heart Chakra and find ways to connect you with your inner cosmic child. Peridot (bead) is used to activate the Heart Chakra and can be seen as “the stone of relationships” – easing away negative emotions that hold us back from truly loving, and replacing them with compassion, love and calmness.

Throat Chakra:

Aquamarine stimulates, activates, and cleanses the Throat Chakra facilitating communication of a higher quality than the mundane. It clears blocked communication and promotes self-expression. It helps judgmental people to be more tolerant, and can help one who is “swamped” by responsibility to bring order to the process. Third Eye Chakra: Amethyst is one of the most spiritual stone, promoting love of the divine, giving insight onto its true nature, and encouraging selflessness and spiritual wisdom. It opens intuition and enhances psychic gifts. Amethyst also opens and activates the Crown Chakra.

Crown Chakra:

Tibetan Quartz (stone) contains a very powerful “OM” vibration, promoting the inventive powers. The body can attune to this resonance and can radiate the energy and verity of the higher-self.
